Release note: Exporting Data

There is an export wizard in Qmica that can help you export two things, namely Source data and Mapped classification data. The Source data file will contain:

- Product data

- No default values

The Mapped classification data will contain:

- Classification data

- Transformed data

- Normalized data

Both exports will output a CSV file and can be created by following a few simple steps explained in this article.

Visit https://{your-subdomain}.qmica.io/ and log in. When you click on the Export button found at the bottom of the menu, a new dialog will pop up. In the dialog you have two options.

a. Source data

You can select Source data and immediately a Start export button will appear and you can create an export.

b. Mapped classification data

When you select Mapped classification data you can specify which datamodel, version and classification you want to export. You can type in the exact classification code or name you want to export and the list will update accordingly. When you found the classification you want to export, click on it and choose what target market you want to do the export for.

Tip

Make sure to enable the toggle if you want to include transcending in the export

Download the export file

After the file is generated and created you can find it in the Activities window from the menu. From there it will most likely be at the top, otherwise click on the Export tab. Find the export you started and click on Completed to open the tab of this activity. Here you can click the download button to download your file.
